Football pundit, Gary Neville has criticized Liverpool goalkeeper, Loris Karius following Liverpool’s shock 4-3 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League. Liverpool, who were hoping to cut Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table to one point blew a 3-1 lead.
Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake poked the ball in after Karius spilled the ball from a shot to condemn Liverpool to a loss. Neville was emphatic in his criticism of Karius, ‘It’s tough to win the league without a good goalkeeper, it is tough,’ he said. ‘He’s not good enough that goalkeeper. You could see actually in his first game… was it against [Manchester] United on a Monday night? He looks nervous and he isn’t good enough.
‘Now he might get better, he might get better but you watch Courtois yesterday [against Manchester City]… Courtois is good enough,’ he added. ‘That presence, when to catch the ball when it comes into the six-yard box [and] kick the ball when it comes to you.’
