Thief Breaks Into Car To Steal Chocolate Bar, Leaves Apology Note

Over the weekend in the US, a student left his car for 15 minutes, only to discover that he had been robbed off his chocolate bar, and was left with a handwritten note by the burgler, saying he or she was ”sorry”.

Hunter Jobbins shared the note on Twitter which read:

Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry.

Jobbins told Metro that he got upset when he first came across the note at first, but later had a laugh at the situation.

I was kinda upset and wondering what happened to my Kit Kat, then I realised how funny it was that it happened so my frustration turned into laughter,” the Kansas State University student said.

Kit Kat themselves found out about the incident and offered to send him a new chocolate bar in reply to his post.

Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we’ll replace it for you”, the chocolate brand said.
