Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has announced the recall of four suspended commissioners, the Head of Service and the Special Adviser on Lands.
The governor suspended the commissioners two weeks ago.
The announcement of the affected officials’ recall was contained in a statement issued by Governor Wike’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, made available to journalists on Friday in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
The affected commissioners are John Baziafor (Chieftaincy Affairs), Tonye Briggs-Oniyide (Culture and Tourism), Fred Kpakol (Finance) and Boma Iyaye (Sports).
Others are Godwin Rufus (Head of Service) and Anugbum Onuoha, the Special Adviser on Lands.
