Twin Explosions In Afghanistan Leave 24 Dead

Two explosions in the Afghani capital of Kabul has left at least 24 people dead and 90 others injured. Both bombs were detonated near the defence ministry as one was detonated remotely while a suicide bomber detonated the second.

The Taliban have already claimed responsibility for the attack which comes barely two weeks after some students were killed at a university in an attack on Kabul.

Afghanistan’s president, Ashraf Ghani condemned the attacked as he said the ‘aim of the terrorists is to spread fear’.

Terror attacks are all too common in Afghanistan, with the Taliban claiming responsibility for most of the attacks.
