Recession: Be Optimistic, Mrs. Buhari Tells Nigerians

aisha-buhariThe wife of the president, Hajia Aisha Buhari, has called on all Nigerians to remain confident of divine intervention in the affairs of the nation.

She made the call in her Sallah message to Nigerians on Monday after observing Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Ansar-ul-Deen Central Mosque, Abuja

Mrs. Buhari also asked the citizens to “remain confident about the unique intervention of the Creator, Almighty God” in the present situation of the country.

The wife of the president urged prayers for the nation’s leadership as well as for the safe return of the over 200 abducted Chibok schoolgirls.

According to her, “the period of Eid-el-kabir is very special to Muslims because of the spiritual uplift and exhortation on the position of sacrifice as enshrined in the Holy Quran”.

She, therefore, urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir season “to reappraise their closeness to God, level of sacrifice, commitment and sense of patriotism to the country”.
