New Executive Council members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Yobe State has been sworn in to run the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The 27 member council were administered oath of office by Zonal officials of the party at the PDP Zonal Headquarters in Bauchi on Thursday.
In his address, the Northeast Zonal PDP Chairman, Ambassador Emmanuel Njiwa, charged members of the new Exco in Yobe to work towards dislodging the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state come 2019.
Ambassador Njiwa said the party had earlier scheduled the presentation of the certificates to take place after the botched August 17 national convention of the party in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
He disclosed that the party had earlier sworn in 25 members of the Exco following their election to run the affairs of the party in the state for four years.
