Reports suggest that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to name German coach Gernot Rohr as the new technical adviser of the national football team.

The former coach of Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso will be presented by the NFF board after agreeing to the terms and conditions of the job.

He is said to be ready to stay in Nigeria and lead the Super Eagles to the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The Super Eagles have been without a technical adviser ever since the appointment of Paul Le Guen broke down after after he refused to sign a contract.

Rohr is also said to be in the country soon to finalise the agreement and go through formalities.

The German also has the management of French club Girondins Bordeaux  and Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel to his resume.
