Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, has joined Kano Pillars.
The former skipper joins pillars as a League Management Company (LMC) ambassador.
LMC is responsible for promoting the Nigeria Premier League and making sure it meets global technical and commercial standards.
The 35-year-old attracted offers from Pillars, Ifeanyi Ubah FC, Akwa United and Wikki Tourists.
Yobo will feature in the domestic league as a way of promoting and adding value to the competition.
The defender could make his debut at Sunshine Stars next week Wednesday.
The ex-Everton man who was out of contract had previous spells with Norwich City, Turkish giants Fenerbache, Olympique Marseille in France as well as Standard Liege in Belgium.
