Police Secondary School Minna Graduates 458 Students

In its 19th graduating ceremony, The Police Secondary School (PSS) in Minna have graduated 458 students for the 2015/2016 session.

The ceremony which witnessed the commissioning of a block of hostel named after the new Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Kpotu Idris also featured giving of special prizes/awards to the best student in each of the 27 subjects offered in the school.

The IGP who was represented by the Niger State Police Commissioner, Mr Abubakar Marafa in his statement enjoined the graduating students to put into practice what they learned while preparing for future endeavors and to be good ambassadors of the famous college.

He also advised them to shun cultism, drug abuse and other negative tendencies before and after getting admission into higher institution of learning.

The Commandant of the college, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Umar Hadejia said that over 90% of the graduating students recorded an average of credit pass in all subjects in the last WAEC/ NECO examinations conducted.

The commandant added that the school also recorded at least 220 points with the highest of 298 points in the last Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
