Anglican Bishop Hails Buhari Over War Against Boko Haram

Dean Emeritus Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion-Adebola AdemowoThe Diocesan Bishop of Lagos and Dean Emeritus Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Rev Adebola Ademowo, has commended the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and the military for the success in the fight against insurgency.
Bishop Ademowo, who gave the commendation yesterday at the first session of the 33rd Synod at Our Saviour’s Church in Lagos, however, implored the federal government to sustain the tempo and boost the morale of the military by providing them with weapons and incentives.
The Bishop added that the nation’s borders should be strengthened to keep away illegal migrants.
Ademowo said: “Buhari’s effort to get the support of world powers in ending the menace in the country is a welcome development. The rising poverty must be reversed, and government must not relent until no Boko Haram insurgent is left”.
He also urged government to tap into the human resource of Nigerians in the diaspora by diversifying the economy to be able to correct hyper-inflation.
