Former National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had no moral ground to cry over any form of injustice, considering the evil it perpetrated in its 16-year rule.

“What PDP did to Nigeria in 16 years it was in power is the greatest disservice to democracy,” Umeh told journalists in Enugu.

This came following the Appeal Court decision, Monday, nullifying Senator Uche Ekwunife’s election on account of Umeh’s petition. The court ordered a re-run within 90 days.

Umeh maintained that he won the election but the PDP manipulated the process with impunity and used the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare Ekwunife the winner.

The politician mocked the PDP over complaints regarding the outcome of the Kogi and Bayelsa state governorship polls.

“PDP promoted electoral banditry, so, I am surprised that they are now crying wolf. They are made up of hypocrites. The PDP’s time has just ended, it should be dismantled,” he said.
