“I had to chuckle a little bit, because you never know who you’re dealing with, I guess,” Falbo told WTAE-TV. “The face looked familiar. Once I saw the sweatshirt and the name on it, it made it all the more clear who it was.” Police searched Jording’s home and discovered the sweatshirt along with the phones and guns taken during the burglary. Investigators also found marijuana and paraphernalia in the home.
“When he was here, we tried to help him in some ways with some advances of money and stuff that he paid back. But, you never know. You try to be trustful, and it makes it tough sometimes,” Falbo said. Jording was charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and drug charges. He was released on $10,000 bond and is due in court Dec. 14.
