APC Commiserates With Alamieyeseigha’s Family, Bayelsa Over DSP’s Death

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commiserated with the family of former governor of Bayelsa, Chief Diepreye Solomon Peter (DSP) Alamieyeseigha over his death.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party also condoled with the Bayelsa Government on the death of the former governor who died on Saturday.

Mohammed noted that the party received the news of Alamieyeseigha’s demise with great shock, considering that he was not publicly reported to have been gravely ill.

“APC prays that the family will find comfort in their moment of sadness as well as the strength to bear the loss of their loved one,” the statement added.

Alamieyeseigha died on Saturday aged 62. Reports say it was as a result of a cardiac arrest at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, after slipping into coma three days ago and was placed on life support.

  1. Mmmmmm mm, hypocrisy, that is what the APC is displaying. The APC trigger off deep thinking for the man by planning to extradite him to the UK to stand trial for an offence he had completed a jail term in Nigeria. Now the man is dead by cardiac arrest and they are shading crocodile tears because and election is coming up in Bayes State. God will surely punish the hypocrites. Death is for everybody. He who plays politics with the dead shall also meet him very soon.
