Buhari’s Not A Dictator, Says Ogbeha

President Muhammadu Buhari-official-portraitA chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Brig.-Gen. Tunde Ogheha (retd.), has faulted those labeling President Muhammadu Buhari a dictator, saying since he assumed office on May 29, the president’s actions have been far from being dictatorial.
Speaking with journalists in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Sunday, the two-term former senator said it was too early to begin to assess President Buhari, urging Nigerians to wait until after two years before passing judgment.
The ex-senator pointed out that Buhari has barely stayed in office for more than 100 days, adding that it will be too early to start assessing his performance now.
“I think it’s too early to start assessing him, he has four years to go. He has barely done 100 days, how can I assess him? But maybe when he reaches his mid-term after two years, we will be able to know what he has done and what he is capable of doing”, Ogbeha said.
