Buhari, Obasanjo Meet Behind Closed Doors At Aso Rock

Muhammadu-Buhari-Olusegun-ObasanjoFormer President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday met President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The two leaders met behind closed-doors for about one hour at the president’s office.

Details of the meeting were unknown at the time of publishing this report and efforts by State House correspondents to speak with Mr. Obasanjo when the president accompanied him to his vehicle at 4:17pm was rebuffed.

He simply told journalists that approached him to “comot joor” (give way).

It would be recalled that Buhari had on August 21 named the ex-president as his Special Envoy to mediate and help find a solution to the political crisis in Guinea Bissau.
