Saraki Urges N/Assembly Workers To Shun Corruption, Avoid Bureaucratic Delays

Bukola SarakiThe Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki yesterday charged workers of the National Assembly to shun corruption, inefficiency and bureaucratic delays in the discharge of their duties.

He gave the charge when the leadership of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), National Assembly chapter, visited him in his office.

The senate president stressed that the workers were key to the success of the 8th Senate even as he pledged that the red chamber under his leadership would continue to make issues of staff welfare a top priority.

Senator Saraki said that while the senate is ready to provide the conducive environment necessary for the staff to deliver on their mandate, the senate in turn expects managers of its bureaucracy to reciprocate the gesture through hard work and dedication to their duties.

“We must avoid bureaucratic delays, we must avoid inefficiency and we must shun corrupt practices”, he said.

  1. Corruption is the enemy of the country and there is no more dangerous menace to civilization than a government of incompetent, corrupt, or vile men.

The present Nass under leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki will not involved in any business as usual that may hinder the need and wants of the general masses. They will pass bills that will favour the Nigerians they are representing without any personal ambitions that would go against the wish of the masses.

The leadership of the 8th assembly will deal with corruption in accordance with the law. If you are corrupt then you will have to hang your boots.

    Nigeria will be better again.
