Hull City have secured the services of Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom on a season-long loan deal.
Akpom, 19, joins another Arsenal prospect Isaac Hayden, 20, at Hull; the latter having also agreed a loan deal with the side.
“I’m really happy to be here and I’m looking forward to helping the team push for promotion,” Akpom is quoted as saying by the club’s website.
“Hopefully we can be successful and I can help with that. We’re going to be one of the stronger teams in the Championship.”
Hull City play Huddersfield on Saturday and Akpom could make his debut in the Week 1 fixture.
He has featured for England at youth level but is eligible for Nigeria.
