The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) has promised to partner the Federal Government as it tackles unemployment in the country.

The President, CIPM, Anthony Arabome made this commitment during his investiture in Lagos. He explained that the partnership would also include strengthening the educational sector in order to find solution to the menace from its roots.

According to him, there are plans to align the institute’s curriculum with more tertiary institutions across the country. “We are now determined to make the graduates more marketable and most sought after at workplace.”

He acknowledged the success that the immediate past President of the institute, Victor Famuyibo, had recorded saying that, “the current success of CIPM would not have been possible without the excellent successive leaderships.”

Also speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer, African Capital Alliance, Okechukwu Enelamah, expressed confidence in the institute’s ability to address job deficit and inadequate competence in the labour market under the leadership of Arabome.
