The Football Association (FA) has charged Arsenal for allegedly breaching football agents regulations over the transfer of Calum Chambers from Southampton.
The 20-year-old English defender joined the Gunners in a deal quoted in the region of £16m in July last year.
The Emirates stadium outfit, who have requested more time to address the issue, have until 26 June to respond to the charge.
Sunderland were fined £100,000 and warned over their future conduct after admitting breaching the regulations in May 2014.
In February of this year, SkyBet Championship club, Brighton were fined £90,000 for the same offence.
