The governor visited the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria where 26 persons injured during the celebrations were on admission for various degrees of injuries.

Conducting the governor and his entourage round the wards, the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital, Abdullahi Mohammed, said of the number admitted at the hospital, 12 persons have been discharged while the remaining 14 are still receiving treatment.

Yero informed management of the hospital that the State Government will pay all bills while calling on people in the State to continue to live peacefully with one another irrespective of their political and religious differences.

Mr. Yero is of the Peoples Democratic Party and will be looking to win this Saturday’s governorship election in which a former FCT Minister, Nasir el-Rufai, will be flying the All Progressives Congress flag.
