The Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has said he respects the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
Okupe took to his Facebook page on April 21, Tuesday, to say he respects the mandate given to Buhari to rule this nation and he has accepted his victory.
According to him, he was only doing his job by opposing and criticizing him during the elections and he did that to the best of his ability.
Okupe said he does not care about all the abuses and curses being rained on him.

Okupe had earlier said he had no regrets for attacking Buhari, during the electioneering period that came to an end in the March 28 presidential election. He had said Buhari was not electable and his victory will not happen.
