Chidera Ezeh Out Of Flying Eagles, Black Satellites Rematch

Nigeria Under-20 national team will be without forward, Chidera Ezeh when they take on the Black Satellites of Ghana later on Wednesday (today) after suffering mild concussion in the first match.

The FC Porto youth player had to be replaced soon after scoring in the 2-2 draw with their Ghanaian counterpart at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday. He was involved in a clash with an opposition and suffered the problem.

Ezeh made way for Wikki Tourists’ Usman Hassan at the start of the second period and will now be rested for second friendly match in Tema.

“Chidera Ezeh is okay now but he will not be involved in the second game against Ghana after he suffered mild concussion as a precautionary measure,” team doctor Ozi Salami said

Defender Zharadeen Bello will also be rested to ensure he does not aggravate his leg injury.

Both Flying Eagles and the Black Satellites are preparing for next month’s African Youth Championship in Senegal. The Eagles are in Group A, while Ghana are in Group B.

The match will be played on astro turf.

Kickoff time: 3pm local time (4pm Nigerian time)
