Buhari, who made the pledge while addressing his supporters in Kaduna, said the APC administration would reverse the current state of economy, insecurity, unemployment and corruption in the country.

“We pledge to you, that if given the mandate, we will bring about positive changes in the lives of Nigerians within two years”, he said.

“Our desire for change has not diminished, that was why in all the elections we participated we never asked people to take the law into their hands.

“We have always pursued our grievances over the elections at the tribunal.

“I believe in democratic governance, and as long as I am alive, I shall continue to struggle for the good of all Nigerians”, he said.

He said that APC was not unmindful of pervasive unemployment in the country due to negative economic policies that led to closure of industries.

The APC presidential candidate also pledged to revitalise the education sector, provide functional health care services and revitalise national infrastructure, if elected.

Buhari urged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to enable them exercise their franchise.

He also advised them to shun violence but ensure that their votes count.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State, the Speaker, House of Representatives and Sokoto APC gubernatorial candidate, Aminu Tambuwal attended the rally.

Malam Nasiru El-Rufai, APC governorship candidate in Kaduna State and numerous party supporters also graced the event. (NAN)

APC has been consistent in saying dat PDP has ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery and several ill society held sway.
But at a very close luk at APC, I am seeing
    1. Rotimi Amaechi – 8years speaker, 7years Governor under PDP
    2. Atiku Abubakar – 8years Vice president under PDP
    3. George Akume – 8years Governor under PDP
    4. Bukola saraki – 8years Governor, 2years Senator under PDP
    5. Timipre Sylver – 4years Governor under PDP
    6. Audu Ogbe – 2years Chairmanship under PDP
    7. Aminu Masari – 4years speaker, house of Rep under PDP
    8. Chris Ngige – 3years Governor under PDP
    9. Rabiu Kwankwaso – 7years Governor, 3years Defense Minister under PDP
    10. El Rufai – 4years FCT Minister, 2years BPE chairman under PDP
    11. And to cap it all, Obasanjo is d Navigator of APC, a man who spent 8years of d disastrous 16years as d maximum ruler of Nigeria.
It is now clearer dat APC is a waste basket of PDP, wia d people who created n perpetuated d 16disastrous years are now dumped, so wia is d CHANGE comim 4rm?
Are they now saints cos d joined APC? Pls, b wise n Vote not 4 those seekin power by FORCE… ASSOCIATION OF PAST CRIMINALS (APC)

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic  Party (PDP) Chief Bode George has described the collection of internally generated revenue in Lagos state by a private firm called AlphaBeta, which earns around N7.5bn ($19 million) monthly as sacrilegious.

“There are so many leakages in the Lagos State Government purse. Take this AlphaBeta; who owns this AlphaBeta? What is the essence of the AlphaBeta? Where else in the world would you have an Inland Revenue Service, who have their own staff who are supposed to go out and collect the fees, but you have an independent company to be supposedly collecting the internally generated revenue from our state?

“It grosses around N50bn (about $130m) a month and you know how much that company (AlphaBeta) is paid 15% of it, that’s N7.5bn in thirty days going to the company, that is a leakage, that is sacrilegious.”
