Man City’s Chidiebere Nwakali Joins Malaga on a 2.5-Year Loan

Manchester City have confirmed the transfer of Nigeria Under-20 international Chidiebere Nwakali to Spanish La Liga outfit Malaga on loan until June 2017.

Nwakali joined the Premier League champions a year ago after clinching a record fourth Fifa Under-17 World Cup with the Golden Eaglets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

City confirmed the move on Friday in time before the close of the winter transfer window in Spain.

He had been with KV Mechelen, having confirmed he was embarking on a three-month loan at the Belgian league outfit last October.

Argentine midfield prospect Bruno Zuculuni has also joined Cordoba on loan until the end of next season, hours after Valencia prematurely terminated his previous loan.
