Dortmund Back in the Drop after Defeat in Berlin

Borussia Dortmund dived back into the relegation play-off place of the German Bundesliga after losing 1-0 to fellow strugglers Hertha Berlin.

The Westfalendians were dealt a heavy punch by Julian Chieber, who left Signa Iduna Park for the Olympic Stadium in the summer, as the German striker’s only strike helped the host overtake Jurgen Klopp’s side in the table.

Dortmund are into the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League, having progressed as their group winners ahead of Arsenal, but have struggled to re-produce the same form in the Bundesliga.

The last season’s runners-up in the German top-fliht have won only four of 15 Bundesliga matches this season.
