Christmas: Okorocha Provides Free Bus Rides To Owerri For Imo Indigenes In Lagos, Oyo

Rochas OkorochaTo encourage its indigenes residing in Lagos and Oyo states to return home for the Christmas celebration, the Imo State Government has provided buses that will convey them free of charge to Owerri, the state capital on Wednesday, December 24, 2014.

The Imo State Liaison Officer, Lagos State, Mr. Alfred Ononugbo, who disclosed this in a statement, urged Imo indigenes resident in Lagos, who intended travelling home for Christmas celebration, to converge on the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos, tomorrow (Wednesday) by 8am for the trip.

The liaison officer also urged Imo indigenes resident in Oyo State, to assemble at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Mokola, in Ibadan, the state capital at 8am tomorrow for the journey.

According to Ononugbo, adequate security had been provided in all Imo communities even as he noted that the homecoming would afford them the opportunity to see and feel the dividends of democracy provided by the Rochas Okorocha administration.
