It’s a good feeling every time to know that more and more Nigerian females are being recognized globally for their hard work and contribution to the continent’s development.

Forbes Magazine has released its 2014 edition of the annual ’20 Young Power Women in Africa’ list and quite a number of Nigerians made the cut.

The list includes Nigerian amazons like Ada Osakwe, Adiat Disu, Amy Jadesimi, Rimini Makama, Yasmin Belo-Osagie and Toyosi Akerele as well as Kenyans Naisula Lesuuda, Yvonne Khamati and Irene Koki Mutungi, South Africans Tebogo Mashego, Phumzile Van Damme, Naadiya Moosajee and many more.
