Photos: President Jonathan unveils new N100 notes

The new N100 note designed to commemorate Nigeria’s 100 years of amalgamation was unveiled by President Jonathan today Nov. 12th at the state house during the Federal Executive Council meeting.

While presenting the notes to other members of the Council, the president said it was a laudable gesture by the CBN to produce the notes which would serve as a reminder of Nigeria’s centenary celebration.

Speaking on the new notes, Central Bank governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele said the notes will be in circulation from December 2014

  1. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan remains a very stupid ruler. What’s the main reason for him changing currencies when the nigerian soldiers are dying everyday cos we lack armouries and fighting/war tools and equipments, yet he’s wasting money on unserious issues and giving nigerians a stupid smile. Nothing shall make win the next election, pray nothing happen to any of your children anywhere that they are cos that’s when you’ll know that death is a painful thing.

Na celebrating and unveiling nu 100 note matter to ur foolish president?? We re all foolish and all we know how to do is criticise in the way which favours individual pocket. God bless nigeria….

  4. I think that everybody must learn how to respect elders, learn how to express ur own opinion without insulting others, the man is human beings like u and I, don’t expect him to perform maigc, over night. pray for him, with ur prayer I think he can do better.
