In a development that is bound to raise few eye brows, the coach of Russian Premier League team FC Rostov, said he will not sign black players to his club. He also made derogatory comments about some of his black players apparently spreading Ebola in Russia.

Igor Gamula told the media on Friday that his team already have ‘’enough dark-skinned players”.

Rumors linked the club with a possible acquisition of Cameroon defender Benoit Angbwa, but Igor’s comments squash the possibility. ‘’We have six of the things” He observed.

Gamula,54, also noted that five of his Russian players were apparently sick with Ebola and obviously blames one of his black players for the spread, though in a sarcastic manner.

Mail’s Midfielder Moussa Doumbia was on duty for Rostov in Friday’s 1-0 win over Ural Yeaterinburg. His country is currently battling to contain the Ebola outbreak.

Club Rostov is currently rooted to 14th in the 16-team Russian League and Friday’s win was the first in four games for the Russian outfit.
