Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of Fountain of Life Church says he find it annoying that Christians keep criticizing CAN leader, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor for owing a private jet.

Pastor Odukoya said this yesterday Oct 14th while speaking at the media parley for the launch of the Fountain Initiative for Social Development,a social enterprise being championed by his wife, Nomthi. He also talked about the Sosoliso plane crash that killed his late wife Pastor Bimbo in Dec. 2005.

“It’s been years, what is the outcome of the investigations into the Sosoliso air crash? If anybody whether you are a leader or not, and you do what is wrong, we won’t endorse it. I don’t agree that he was wrong. Nigeria is considered to be a country with the highest number of private jets, if not, we are known with a good number in the world. How do you handle that?

“For some, getting a private jet is for business. They give it to companies that will handle all aspects of maintenance including the hangar and then they run it as business. That was exactly what he did. Apart from that, why would such a person have a jet .You want me to tell you? Why would Baba Enoch Adeboye or Pastor David Oyedepo need a jet? My wife (late Bimbo Odukoya) is dead. She was going to preach when she crashed and died. Would we rather allow that our people die right all over Africa? What is annoying is that those who are criticizing Oritsejafor are Christians. We question their Christianity. You don’t want him to have a jet. You want another plane crash to kill him? My father in the Lord, Bishop Mike Okonkwo will travel by road from Lagos to Benin Republic and he would be delayed only to enter one rickety plane at the end of the day. We don’t want another person to die. If you want to buy Concord or space jet, buy it. It is the corruption in the system that allows people to get away with wrong doing,” he said.

    Any christian or pastor dat crititises men of God for buying or having private jets is not born again. Enough is enough, must men of God be living a pitiable life. Jesus bcame poor for our sake though He was rich dat we tru His poverty ll b rich. There is nowhere in the bible dat owing private jets is a sin. Jesus had fleet of boats, He was never stranded all tru His ministry here on earth. Infact, in my tym, I ll b giving jets to men of God. If u like gets angry or stop paying tithe and offering in ur church, it does change anytin @ all. You can even stop going to church, it doesn’t change GOD frm being who HE is and it doesn’t stop the end time prosperity of the church dat the bible talks abt. Is. 2:1-2. You dat is condeming men of GOD, u better b careful, the gifts and calling of GOD is without repentance, pls b save b4 its too late.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has revealed that it will cost the ministry N81m to cut the grass and clear the weed that have taken over the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

He stated this recently while speaking during the one-day seminar organised by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) FCT chapter.

According to him, the ministry approached the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) for assessment in the stadium, which was built in 2003 with N53 billion on a 29 hectares (72 acres) of land.

The stadium is divided into Package A which houses the Main Bowl and Package B which houses other facilities like basketball courts, NFF office, volleyball courts, tennis courts, squash courts.

“We approached AEPB to come see what can be done to clear the grass and weed in the stadium and they told us it will cost us N81m.

“If we tell Nigerians we used N81m which is not even available, there will be an outcry. The funds are not really there for us and that is why we are partnering with private investors to bring back the key components of our infrastructures,” he said.

A lady who disclosed that she’s a student, had tweeted;

I’ve seen tweets from guys saying they can’t date a girl that’s not financially stable. I’m a student. But never, like never have I felt attacked by such tweets. What’s actually up with some guys on Twitter? What I want must not make sense to you. It’s choice boo

Reacting to this, Leo stated that it’s a smart choice for young men to refuse to date jobless women. He added that guys should have their own preference just as women have theirs.

He tweeted in response;

Guys should have their own preference just as women have theirs. Dating someone that’s not working or doesn’t have adequate allowance is a burden. Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world, if a young man trying to come up refuses that burden, I think it’s a smart choice.
