Breach Of CPC Act: Court Fixes Nov 4 for Arraignment of Coca-Cola’s Chief Executives

NBCHearing in the criminal breach of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) Act by the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Limited, Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited and their Chief Executives‎, has been fixed for November 4th by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

It was learnt that the accused persons have also been served with the charge.

The accused will appear before Justice E.S. Chukwu of the Federal High Court 8, Abuja.

Last week,‎ the Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Mohammed Adoke, SAN, filed a one-count charge against NBC and its Managing Director and a two-count charge against Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited and its Chief Executive, making them liable to jail terms ranging from three to five years, if found guilty.
