Caf Mourns Former Falcons Coach Effiom

Caf president Issa Hayatou has extended condolence wishes to the family of the deceased Super Falcons coach, Ntiero Effiom, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Effiom died aged 67 in hospital in his hometown of Akpabuyo (near Calabar) last week after taking ill.

“On behalf of the CAF Executive Committee and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the bereaved family and the Nigerian football family. My thoughts are with you at this difficult moment,” Hayatou said.
