Reigning English Champions Manchester City welcome Stoke to the Ethiad Stadium on Saturday.

City duo Sergio Agüero and Edin Dzeko are both fit for the enocunter. Earlier, there were indications the former could miss the game having suffered a training ground knock, but the club has played down the extent of the injury.

Dzeko also picked up a thigh injury last Monday in the thumping of Liverpool, but he has since recovered and in contention to start.

Frank Lampard is still short of match fitness, while Alvaero Negredo,28, is out on a long-term injury.

Stoke City’s winger Victor Moses could start on the bench, despite a scintillating debut in midweek.
