Real Madrid have announced on their website that their diminutive midfielder Luka Modric is set to stay at the club, until the summer of 2018. Information Nigeria understands.

The Croatian joined the Santiago Bernabeu from English side Tottenham Hotspur in the frantic summer of 2012.
The 28-year old has over 100 appearances in all competitions for the Los Blancos and won the Supercopa de Espana, Copa del Rey, Champions League and European Super Cup during his stay in Spain so far.
