This story is truly mind blowing. A man from Jacksonville cut his mother’s head off after stabbing her to death. The murder took place in April of 2010. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on the 7th of August 2014, according to the State Attorney’s office.
Jumar D. Henry, 25, murdered 43-year-old Jennifer Ling-Henry inside her house, stabbed her to death, chopped her head off, took her eyeballs out the sockets and put the head inside a garbage bag, according to Times-Union archives. Jumar D. Henry was sent to a state mental hospital after a judge declared him incompetent.
Recently, a psychiatrist found him completely competent, according to court records. Prosecutors originally wanted to charge Jumar with first-degree murder and even sought out the death penalty, according to court records. Circuit Judge Tatiana Salvador sentenced Jumar to 35 years in prison, after he pleaded guilty, according to the State Attorney’s Office. The office didn’t find out what caused Jumar to gruesomely murder his mother.
