Celtic have signed Ghana winger Mubarak Wakaso from Russian side Rubin Kazan on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Visa and work-permit issues had delayed the completion of the 24-year-old deal for over a week. But Wakaso is in contention for his debut against Dundee on Sunday.
The ex-Ashanti gold forward has been capped 19 times by Ghana. He was named in coach Kwessi Appiah’s squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The ex-Espanyol, Villareal and Elche footballer becomes the fourth player to arrive Celtic Park after Jo Inge Berget signed from Cardiff, Jason Denayer from Manchester City and Aleksandar Tonev from Aston Villa while goalkeeper Craig Gordon joined as free agent.
