Pita, Frank Edwards, Mike Abdul, Lara George Dominate At The Crystal Awards 2014




It’s good to see that Gospel singers in Nigeria have their own award gala where the best gospel talents in the country are recognized.

It was a massive turn out as everybody that matters in Nigeria’s gospel circle was present at the Muson Centre in Lagos yesterday, as the 2014 edition of The Crystal Awards was staged.

In attendance were notable names like Bolaji Mogaji, Kayode Olusoji, Moji Olusoji, Frank Edwards, Mike Abdul, Monique, Rasqui, Nene Soul Diva, Sabina, DJ Gosporella, Nikki Laoye, etc.

One of the high points of the event, was Olutola Omoniyi of Praiseworld Radio team proposing to to his girlfriend, when he came on stage to present the award for the Best Urban Inspirational Gospel song.

‘Small Businesses Need Support’ – Mr Macaroni

Nigerian Comedian, Mr Macaroni

Nigerian comedian, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has urged the youths to help small businesses who need support regarding cleaning up after the recent violence witnessed in Lagos state.

The social media skit maker took to his Twitter page to share his views thus:

“Let’s focus on small businesses around us. If a lot of cleaning has been done or is being done already, then those businesses would need support. The government already said they will do that but there are also people and organizations willing to support.”
