When a graduating student is Superstar, Nigerian singer, Davido, then it’s expected that the convocation ceremony will not be an ordinary one. Davido graduated from Babcock University, Ilisan Remo, Ogun State on Sunday, June 1 with 1, 544 other graduating students and he caused a scene during the convocation.
The AYE crooner who graduated with a degree in Music caused a lot of screaming and shouting among the students with his dramatic entrance while the special guest of honour, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was delivering her speech.
The Minister had to suspend her speech which until Davido’s arrival held the audience spell-bound.
Davido’s billionaire father, Chief Deji Adeleke who was present at the occassion had to restore peace as he was said to have called out his son saying: “David! David! Leave this place now, and follow me where ever I go”.
That’s what’s up, Money speaks and every other activity has to recognise the presence of a Super star truly Omo Baba Olowo(OBO)
