Ikuforiji Claims His Intentions To Be Lagos Governor Approved By God

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji, once again expressed his strong desire to run for the governorship in 2015 as he is guided by God.

This disclosure was made by Ikuforiji during a general meeting with the Assembly members. The words about divine intervention was greeted with applause and smiles on people’s faces.

Ikuforiji who is the a potential gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, said he had asked God about his desire to be the next governor of the state and had been given an affirmative answer.

“I have called on God concerning my ambition and He has given me the approval to go ahead,” he disclosed.

Besides God, the Speaker also consulted with stakeholders, opinion leaders and his colleagues. He also stressed out his successful establishment of virile legislative house and promised to build a state where people would be happy.

Ikuforiji did not forget to thank the management, staff of the Assembly and all his supporters for professionalism, diligence, and сalled them on to keep up the good work.

Among other candidates for the post of Lagos’ governor are Femi Hamzat, a current commissioner in the Babatunde Fashola administration, Akinwunmi Ambode, a former Accountant-General of the state, Leke Pitan, a former commissioner in the state and Senator Ganiu Olarenwaju Solomon.
