Confab: Ohaneze Insists On Regional Government

Confab-DelegatesThe Igbo apex socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, on Sunday reiterated its stand on the adoption of six zonal structures in the country.

In a communique issued at the end of its meeting in Enugu, the organization said such zonal structures should be vested with enormous powers.

The communique signed by Prof. Ben Obumselu, on behalf of the communique drafting committee stated:

“Ndigbo thank our delegates and congratulate our delegates on the good work they have done so far and are still doing.

“Ndigbo reaffirm our support for six zonal structure in solidarity with the South-West, South-South and all delegates that share our common view on the way forward for Nigeria.

“Ndigbo unanimously affirm that we stand on the six zonal structure.

“On power devolution, Ndigbo are restating that power be devolved to the zones.

“Ndigbo insist on proper application of the secularity of the Nigerian state.

“We reaffirm that citizenship rights should prevail as contained in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, the communique added.

What I Am Sayin And Still Sayin It Is This After 30 Years Of Civil War In Nigeria The U.N and world suppose to grant BIAFRA a republic and now our dear founding father died last year still they are not doing any thing about it, general yacubo and udumegwe ugochukwu is alive 30 thirty year according the interional law if the two is alive they suppose to be given each it own republic but nothing have been done about it so i am asking the united nation to look into these matter.
