A Cell Phone Surgically Removed From South African Man’s Mouth [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

A weird new video has been recently uploaded to LiveLeak.com website by one of its users. A video which lasts over one minute shows a cell phone being surgically removed from man’s mouth.

The incident happened at a hospital in South Africa, Klerksdorp, back in 2012. The video was filmed by a medical worker, Edwin Shingo, who witnessed the stomach-churning operation.

The short clip titled ‘The guy with a cell phone in the mouth’ has already gained over 56,000 views on the mentioned video base.

It shows an unidentified patient lying in bed. A group of medics gathered around him. The operation begins after the saliva is sucked from his gums and tongue. The doctors insert metal clamps to remove the cell phone. As the gadget slowly emerges from man’s mouth, shocked expressions by the surgeon can be heard.

At the same time, some medics struggled to contain their amazement and even broke into laughter. The incident was filmed by more than one person.

Patient’s details were not provided. No explanation on how the gadget got lodged in men’s throat is available.
