It seems that the Ghanaian duo of Yvonne Nelson And Jackie Appiah have garnered more popularity points than our Nigerian female entertainers.

Yvonne Nelson and Jackie Appiah have had their Facebook pages officially verified by Facebook with this feat they’ve beaten their Nigerian counterparts Nollywood Divas like Omotola and Genevieve in being recognized by the world’s largest social network.

Visiting Yvonne Nelson’s fan page and Jackie Appiah’s, you will notice the verified badge beside their name while it is not the case for the top acts in Nollywood.

Even though Omotola’s fan likes is more than the Ghanaian actresses, she still doesn’t have the verified badge.

So the question is, are Ghana actresses more recognized than Nigerian actresses in the eyes of Facebook or another criteria was used.

Congrats to them ooh!
