Faith gives meaning, importance and comfort to one’s life. A person realizing they have started losing faith in God might feel disturbed and lonely reader has started questioning his own faith and believes he does not have the right to lie to the people who see him as a man of God.
I’m a pastor and I’ve started to lose my faith. Every Sunday, I stand before my congregation and preach things I no longer believe in. I just can’t trust the God I’m praying to.
I felt the calling when I was a 6-year-old boy. I had questions, of course, sometimes even doubts. But I thought those would only strengthen my faith. However, when I became a pastor myself nine years ago, sharper questions have started coming to mind.
Would a loving God would torment innocent people, His own image, for eternity? Is there any evidence of God’s existence at all?
I have no one to talk to. That’s why I chose the anonymous way of confessing to thousands of people.
Nobody in family knows I’m having these kind of thoughts. I can’t even imagine to confide in anyone of my friends. I feel that one day, I’ll just leave my job and even relocate to other part of Nigeria.
I just cannot be one of those sheep who follow blindly, without knowing the truth. I don’t know anymore if I even miss “talking to God” and if it’s worth trying to become a born-again believer. I also don’t like the idea of lying to people. What do I do? HELP!
Learn to love the “invicible” God more and more. Even though you are beginning to question His existence, act like you are beginning an imaginary relationship with a creator you haven’t gotten to meet.
Cut out anything you think might have gotten your attention and you’ve become addicted to outside the love of and love for God. Pray that people who don’t even know you will pray for you and for God to strengthen you(Ephesians 6:18-20).Try your possible best to go on a personal spiritual retreat away from pleasures and family for as long as you deem it fit.
There are also people who feel the same way you do; so don’t forget to remember them in your prayers too.
My dear brother the evidence of God’s existance is too great to be hiden.The most prominent one is your very existance.Have you ever thought about the origin of life,do you really understand and believe the scripture?You’ve a pastor for 9 years,if I may ask,have you been praying and to whom?Have you ever recieved an answer,if yes then who answered the prayer? If you have never recieved an answer then you question your christianity and pastorship,have you really been a christian or only thought you have?
Sir. God is real and He is existing. That thought is from the devil resist him and he will flee away. God help u to overcome. Pls open up to ur wife or a stronger man of God to stand with u the place of prayer 2 are better than one and a problem shared is a problem solve.
He can’t truly have a geniune encounter with God and doubt His faith! He should search himself well…..
I want to let u know that God is real. No matter whether you are loosing your faith or not. Why don’t you ask God that question. Ask him if he is real and let him prove himself to you in signs and wonder. Afterall Gideon did so. Moses did asked the same question and they all got answers. If you are so sincere as you say, just talk to God, he will prove his existence to you.
All you need is Islaam. It is the only way to salvation. The concept of God in christianity is full of serious flaws and annoying ascriptions. God is one. He can never be 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 as Mary is now added to the picture. Don’t let these Xtians lie to you that God call them. As you can feel yourself, God does not call any Pastor. They are only looking for their daily bread (in africa and Asia) and are all confused in the developed world. Europeans and American are coming to Islaam (the fastest growing religion in the world) In Islaam, you will have tranquility because nobody is going to tell you to be born again, claim to be prophets or receive holy spirit to lie in the Bible (Jeremiah 8:8).
Have you ever asked yourself where the name Bible came from? you won’t be shocked to know that it is not even found in the bible itself. Who asked Christians to go to church on Sundays/Saturday? There are many evidence that Christianity is not a way to salvation. It is a man-made religion and paganism. They want people to believe that Muslims are terrorist, Islaam is evil and Muhammad spread Islaam with violence and genocide. Lies! By those whitish sepulchre. Read and research about Islaam and you will be convinced. All they say about Islaam are lies! Wish you Islaam- Peace.
