Kaduna Police Release Late Yakowa’s Media After 19-Hour Detention

policeThe Kaduna State Police Command have released from custody the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to late Governor Patrick Yakowa, Mr Reuben Buhari after detaining him for 19 hours.

Mr. Buhari was reportedly picked up yesterday by the state Police Command on a directive from Abuja over an allegation that he posted photographs of the recent killings in Kaura local government area of the state on his Facebook wall.

Southern Kaduna youths, who have registered their displeasure with the government over the killings in the area, had also accused Governor Ramalan Yero of masterminding the arrest of Buhari, saying it was a ploy to silence all Yakowa’s loyalists in the state.
