Insecurity’s A Global Challenge, Says Kumuyi, Urges Nigerians To Support FG, Security Agencies In Fight Against Boko Haram

kumuyi-360x225The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, yesterday said that terrorism is a global challenge that is not peculiar to Nigeria.

The soft-spoken preacher, who addressed newsmen in Owerri, the Imo State capital, to announce the crusade of the church, with the theme “Supernatural Encounter”, holding between March 7 and March 10, maintained that it is difficult to judge the performance of the Federal Government in its quest to tackle insecurity in the country, adding that it is only the end result of its effort that can determine how it can be accessed.

“It is difficult to judge the process of the Federal Government efforts towards tackling the insecurity problems in the country, but when we see the end result we would know if it is worth it,” he said.

According to him, “terrorism is not linked to one country. Nobody is happy with insecurity, but with the support of everyone the situation could be managed”, Kumuyi stated.

He specifically called on all Nigerians to “join hands to support the government and the security agencies in their efforts to check the spate of insecurity in the country”.

Speaking further on the special crusade, Kumuyi noted that it was organized for people of the South-East geo-political zone, promising that the power of God would be at work to liberate the people from all forms of demonic oppression.

He assured that no one who attended the event will remain the same.
