Manchok Attack: Kaduna State Govt Donates Materials Worth N7.6m To 173 Victims

Ramalan YeroThe Kaduna State Government has donated items worth N7.6 million to the owners of 173 houses, destroyed during the recent attack in Manchok, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mr James Kazah, the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Sunday in Kaduna.

Presenting the materials, the Deputy Governor, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, condemned the attack and cautioned against vengeance.

Bajoga, who is also Chairman, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), said that government was working with security agencies to fish out the culprits and to avoid a repeat.

He that the relief materials were “meant to cushion the suffering of the victims” and pledged government readiness to promptly respond to the needs of the affected persons.

The relief materials donated included bags of rice, cartons of Indomie noodles, bundles of zinc, packets of nails, palm oil, groundnut oil, mattresses, cement, among others (NAN)
