A man’s body was found in the wheel well of a plane at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., Saturday.

Airport officials said the man’s body was found when ground crews checked on the parked South African Airways plane around 1:30 p.m., NBC Washington reported.

The plane, parked in a remote area of the airport, landed in Washington on Wednesday from Johannesburg, with one stop in Senegal, a spokesperson for South African Airways told NBC.

“We regret any loss of human life and are deeply concerned about the suspicious circumstances surrounding this incident,” Tlali Tlali said.

The man hasn’t been identified and the investigation continues.

Operations at the airport weren’t impacted by the discovery, NBC reported.
