Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed striker Sergio Aguero fit for Wednesday’s FA Cup third-round replay against Blackburn Rovers at the Etihad Stadium.
The Argentine forward, who has scored 19 goals this season has been out with a calf injury he suffered during the 6-3 win over Arsenal on December 14.
“Sergio is working as normal with the whole squad and he is in the squad list for tomorrow,” Pellegrini said during his news conference ahead of the FA Cup tie
Pellegrini added that midfielder Yaya Toure and David Silva are both carrying knocks, but he hopes they will be available for Saturday’s home league game against Cardiff City.
“Silva and Yaya are also with more problems, but I hope they will be fit for Saturday.
“Yaya has the last two weeks played with a problem in his back, so it’s too risky to continue playing in that way.” he added.
