General Overseer of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has said the proposed National Conference is a waste of time and resources.

“The National Conference is a mere waste of resources and time because nothing good will come out of it. Even when decisions are taken at the end of it, they will not be implemented. When the time comes for a genuine national conference, we will all see the signs and be convinced. But this particular conference has a lot of political undertones which I will not disclose because I am speaking as a prophet, not a political analyst. I therefore want to rename it a ‘corrupt national conference’,” he said.

Primate Ayodele also faulted the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, for lack of transparency, saying, “They go to Mr. President every now and then, but why can they not advise him on what to do and what not to do? Truth is bitter but you have to say it! CAN is corrupt and political!”

  1. Nawah oooo, CAN na only una organisation dey wey people just dey point bad hand to their leadership been corrupt, earlier El-rufai does and the likes of some but you people’s followers are even more devoted to u than the Almighty God that creates even jesus christ……….All will be expose soon and I want people to fire this man too but if u resist, then u are all Hypocrite

  2. I think they made a mistake about the name of his church, it should have been ‘All Progressive Congress’ chapel. This man should have been an APC spokesman not a prophet, he should spare us his politicized opinions.

  3. It’s no longer news to some of us christians that CAN is corrupt, but very, very corrupt since Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor became the president of that respected organization. Whenever he speaks on National issues, you see a defender of the Presidency like he is the spokesperson for the president and for the PDP. I have never seen a religious leader (be it christian or muslim) taking sides with the government even when it’s policies are anti-people. Pastor Ayo should have taking over the position of Dr Reuben Abati as Special Adviser to the President on media or better still, chase Olisa Metuh away to become the publicity secretary of the ruling PDP so a better and credible person can pilot the affairs of CAN. As it stands, I have no respect for CAN and it’s leadership irrespective of how you feel about me.

  4. I seriously don’t know why people keep defending oristejafor, he is not doing his job properly and is obviously corrupt. I’m sorry but the truth is the truth, either accept it and advice the CAN president or join the idiots who see no fault in his actions because of his position as jonathan’s adviser, sorry I meant CAN president.
