Oscar and Dede Score as Brazil Beat Zambia 2-0 in Beijing.

2014 World Cup hosts Brazil continued their warm up for the football tournament, which returns to home soil after 63 years, with a 2-0 victory over 2012 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) champions Zambia in Beijing.

The 2014 Confederations Cup winner were undoubtedly the better side in a first-half which ended scoreless.

Second-half goals from Chelsea’s Oscar and Dede earned victory for Luis Philipe Scolari’s men, against a Zambian side under former assistant manager Patrick Beaumelle following the stepping down of coach Herve Renard.

Oscar opened scoring on the 59th minute with a looping free-kick that left goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene reeling back in a desperate attempt to keep the ball out of the net.

Dede then headed in Brazil’s second five minutes later from close range off a Neymar free-kick.

Since claiming the Confederation Cup in the summer, Brazil’s winning run is only blotted by a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland, who have also sealed their ticket to the South American nation, in August.
